About Possibilities ABA
Possibilities ABA is a rapidly expanding practice offering high-quality ABA and specialty counseling services for neurodiverse individuals and their families. Alongside traditional mental health care, we deliver targeted interventions for autism, OCD, and ADHD, and tailor supports that meet the whole child, beyond a diagnosis. We are committed to evidence-based care, thoughtful collaboration, and working meaningfully with families.
Primary Role
As Staff Psychologist, your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, which includes assessing for autism and ADHD. In an egalitarian way, you will be expected to share your findings and recommendations with parents and provide evaluation reports and treatment guidance with confidence.
We have a team of supportive and collaborative psychologists who are always looking for ways to improve our skills and assessment process. This includes opportunities for CE trainings, sharing report templates, and professional consultation.
Secondary Responsibilities
• Provide general and specialty mental health counseling for children, adolescents, and young adults
• Supervise PsyD students as needed, mentoring future clinicians and strengthening our training pipeline
• Consult with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure coordinated, compassionate and individualized care
In addition, opportunities to provide counseling services are available.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring the following strengths and experience:
• Passion for working with neurodiverse individuals and their families
• Proven competence in psychological evaluations, including skilled clinical interviewing, autism-specific assessment (including the ADOS-2 and related measures), and other standard assessment tools
• Training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
• Training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
• Practical experience delivering services to neurodiverse individuals
• Clinical experience with children, youth, and young adults
• Willingness to learn and work as a team
If you value collaborative practice, clear communication, and clinical excellence, you’ll thrive here.
Location and Schedule
This role supports our Sioux Falls location and offers remote work flexibility. We support a balanced schedule that enables strong client relationships and professional autonomy.
Salary Range: $90-$130k based on experience
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
• PhD in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program
• Eligible to provide clinical services in South Dakota and holding a professional license in good standing with DOPL
Psychologists who do not meet all of the ideal qualifications but are willing to learn and psychologists who are not yet independently licensed but are passionate about serving neurodiverse populations are encouraged to apply. Supervision from an experienced licensed psychologist and additional training opportunities can be provided. Please contact us with any question or for an informal conversation, if you would like more information about the position.
