Qualifications

  • Proficiency in clinical trials and biology
  • Strong office and clerical skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently
  • Organized with excellent data entry skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Research experience
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance processes
  • Knowledge in botany, chemistry, and microbiology
  • High School diploma
  • Experience in Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

  • This role involves supporting research trials and ensuring adherence to study protocols
  • You will have the opportunity to work in a family-oriented environment with potential for career growth and development
  • Perform or supervise technical staff in trial site selection and plot layout
  • Calibrate equipment and apply test materials
  • Sample and evaluate residue and efficacy trials
  • Pack and ship study-related samples
  • Review and familiarize with study protocol requirements
  • Conduct site characterization sampling and shipping
  • Maintain facility organization, cleaning, and supplies inventory control
  • Train research technicians
  • Identify and communicate situations where protocols may not be met
  • Document trial activities in appropriate logbooks
  • Prepare and review raw data packages for audit
  • Assist with written report summaries
  • The position involves working in a greenhouse environment, requiring comfort with heat during summer months
  • Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with summer trials possibly starting as early as 5:30 AM to 6 AM
