Overview

Join our dedicated team and become a vital part of transforming lives through compassionate care. In this role, you will provide direct support to autistic individuals implementing behavior support plan. We have seasonal and part-time positions available.* Pay rate based on relevant experience and highest level of education completed. This position is home-based.

Responsibilities
• As our Autism Support Specialist, you will help autistic children to develop the necessary skills needed to increase independence.
• Implement behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behaviors.
• Every day you will provide direct therapy services under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• We provide a play-based approach that requires active engagement with the learner and physical movement to create a fun learning environment.
• Collect data on client behaviors and progress to inform treatment plans and facilitate ongoing assessments.
• This role is performed using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). An evidence-based approach that requires proper protocols to be implemented by creating many learning opportunities and documenting each child's progress and responses.
• Write session notes and implement treatment plans per protocol.

Skills
• Experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, or autism spectrum disorder
• To thrive, you must be reliable, patient, and maintain a positive, self-directed attitude. We value professionalism, compassion and high ethical standards.
• You need to be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, pass a background check, drivers license and reliable transportation.
