Founded in 1946, OMRF is an independent nonprofit biomedical research institute with more than 50 principal investigators and an annual budget of ~$100M. Located in Oklahoma City's Health Center, OMRF is adjacent to the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, the Oklahoma City VA, and the NCI-designated Stephenson Cancer Center.

The successful candidate will lead the growth of CCCB into a broad and comprehensive cancer biology program, building on its strengths in chromosome dynamics, DNA repair and replication, genomic instability, transcription, epigenetics, and cell cycle regulation. The Program Chair will recruit and retain faculty, enhance collaborations, and expand funding, particularly through the NCI and other federal sources.

Qualifications:

PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in a relevant field; internationally recognized research program with sustained external funding (including NCI); demonstrated leadership experience; and a strong record of mentoring and collaboration.
