A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll play a vital role in improving children's lives. Your work will be meaningful as you prepare them for success in school and beyond.

You will provide high-quality services tailored to students' IEPs/504 plans. This will involve conducting evaluations, assessments, and writing reports to identify their strengths and areas needing improvement in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.

Qualifications

  • QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • ASHA certification
  • State Speech Language Pathology License
  • All Speech Language Pathologists must possess a state license
