• Analyze experimental results and communicate findings to the team
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and contribute to SOP development
• Assist with general laboratory organization, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
• Collaborate across research, operations, and product development activities

Qualifications Required
• BS degree (completed or expected by Summer 2026) in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Bioengineering, or a related field
• Hands-on laboratory experience through research projects
• Experience with basic molecular biology techniques such as NGS library prep, PCR, ELISAs or other enzyme assays, nucleic acid purification, gel electrophoresis.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred
• Experience with any NGS library preparation workflow
• Experience handling RNA samples
• Familiarity with Illumina sequencing technologies
• Experience working in an academic research laboratory, biotechnology company, or core facility
• Basic data analysis skills using Excel

What We Look For

We value curiosity, initiative, and scientific rigor. The ideal candidate enjoys working at the bench, takes ownership of their work, and is excited about building new technologies in a startup environment. We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate strong experimental skills.

What You’ll Gain
• Hands-on experience with advanced genomics and transcriptomics technologies
• Exposure to assay development and product development workflows
• Training in NGS library preparation and sequencing operations
• Mentorship from experienced scientists and biotechnology entrepreneurs
• Opportunity to contribute directly to commercial and research programs
• Potential conversion to a full-time Research Associate position following successful completion of the internship
