Your Responsibilities:
Clinical Practice
• Conduct assessments and evaluations using ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, PEAK, Vineland, AFLS, Essential for Living or other Functional Behavior Assessments.
• Design and oversee individualized goals for center-based, community, in-home, and telehealth programs.
• Develop tailored behavior intervention plans while monitoring their effectiveness and providing necessary guidance. You'll also deliver direct behavior analytic therapy as appropriate.
• Facilitate parent training sessions aligned with the learner's needs.
Supervision
• Create learning opportunities for both staff and learners in real-world settings and train others to do the same.
• Engage in parent meetings, treatment discussions, stakeholder collaborations, trainings, and other relevant gatherings.
• Assist in the training of new staff and provide ongoing professional development to enhance retention and support of behavior technicians.
• Support staff development through regular performance feedback, discipline, growth activities, and training, adhering to company policies and BACB standards.
Qualifications Required:
• Master's degree in a field pertinent to Behavior Analysis (Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis preferred)
• BCBA Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Current Michigan Behavior Analyst License
• A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a BCaBA or as a trainee under a BCBA's supervision
• At least 2 years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum
