Job Description
time opening for an experienced RN in our Adult Primary Care Clinic – Federal Way. This position will primarily be a Monday-Friday schedule with the potential of working occasional Saturdays. Inside and out, the Federal Way location is inviting. Surrounded by evergreens, the medical center offers plenty of convenient free parking. Inside, skylights provide natural lighting, and green spaces viewable from many parts of the medical center which promote a sense of calm.Our adult primary care clinic sees a wide variety of patients with different concerns. We also focus on preventative care practices to make sure our patients stay healthy. Basic services provided include: General physical exams Flu shots Treatment for heart disease and diabetes Monitoring of chronic conditions Men’s health concerns Women’s health concerns Referrals to specialistsAt Virginia Mason our Registered Nurses blend skill, expertise and critical thinking with care, compassion and personal relationships to truly connect with their patients. The responsibilities of the Registered Nurse includes:Coordinating and facilitating quality management of a broad based outpatient population across the continuum of care.Providing skilled triage and assessment, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources, Supporting the care team in the provision of patient care. Providing patient adviceAssisting in prioritizing daily work of the clinic Providing direction to team members, including oversight of Medical Assistant’s clinical competency. Current Washington State licensure as an RNCPR certification is required every two yearsBachelors of Science of NursingStrong patient assessment skills, ability to work collaboratively in team setting, current working knowledge of electronic medical records.Virginia Mason offers much more than competitive compensation and benefits. Qualifications
- •Current Washington State licensure as an RNCPR certification is required every two years
