Job Description

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will assist in implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary role is to work directly with clients to support their development and help them achieve their behavioral goals.
Pay: $20 to $30 per hour, based on experience

Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting in the modification of intervention strategies based on collected data and feedback from the supervising BCBA.
• Delivering one-on-one behavior therapy sessions to clients based on the individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Observing and documenting client behavior, progress, and responses to interventions.
• Attending training sessions and supervision meetings to enhance skills and ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards.
• Supporting clients in developing and enhancing communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Maintaining a positive and encouraging environment to foster client engagement and progress.
• Implementing behavior interventions and data collection procedures as outlined in the client’s behavior plan.
Requirements:
• RBT Certification
• Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles.
• Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Proficiency in data collection methods and medical documentation practices.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, records, and care plans related to patient care.
• Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for teaching and interacting with clients and their families.
• Compassionate approach towards individuals requiring special education or behavioral support.
