Responsibilities

• •Clinical Research Center of Florida is seeking an experienced Per Diem Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to support our psychiatric and multi-specialty clinical research studies
• •This role is ideal for a PMHNP interested in participating in clinical research while maintaining a flexible, per diem schedule
• •The PMHNP will conduct psychiatric assessments and administer standardized psychiatric rating scales, similar to the responsibilities of a psychiatrist within the research setting
• •Some onsite presence is required during standard business hours (9:00 am – 5:00 pm)
• •Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and clinical assessments for research participants
• •Recruit, screen, and complete intake assessments of potential study participants
• •Administer and score standardized psychiatric rating scales (e.g., MADRS, HAM-D, YMRS, CGI)
• •Review medical and psychiatric histories in accordance with study protocols
• •Collaborate with investigators, physicians, and research staff
• •Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• •Provide education and support to participants and their families
• •Demonstrate professionalism, strong patient engagement, and excellent communication
• •Work effectively within a multidisciplinary research team
• •Maintain current licensure and certifications as required by the State of Florida
