Your Impact (Key Responsibilities)
• Direct Advocacy: Assist with daily living activities (grooming, meals, household tasks) while promoting maximum independence.
• Clinical Excellence: Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate closely with nursing staff to ensure health stability.
• Behavioral Coaching: Implement trauma-informed intervention plans and observe/document health changes to ensure the highest quality of life.
• Community Engagement: Escort individuals to appointments and facilitate participation in vocational and educational programs.

What You Bring (Qualifications)
• License: Current and valid Psychiatric Technician license (CA Board of Vocational Nurse and Psychiatric Technicians).
• Experience: Minimum 6 months of direct care experience with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors.
• Certifications: Valid Driver’s License and current CPR certification. (CPI/Ukeru/DSP I & II training is a major plus!)
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on interventions when necessary.
• Mindset: A commitment to person-centered practices and the flexibility to work various shifts/sites as needed.
