Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate BT or RBT Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans and support their growth in various settings. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis will be essential in fostering positive behavioral changes and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment decisions.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and self-care skills.
• Provide direct support and teaching to clients in various environments, including home, school, and community settings.
• Utilize effective behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in behavioral therapy.

Skills
• Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and techniques.
• Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Proficiency in applied behavior analysis methodologies.
• Ability to assist clients with ADLs effectively.
• Knowledge of special education practices and patient care standards.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and records management.
• Excellent data collection skills for tracking client progress.
• Strong communication skills for teaching and collaborating with clients, families, and team members.
