Job Description
position is ideal for someone with foundational data management skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately enter and update data in spreadsheets and databases
• Maintain and organize digital and physical records
• Assist in generating basic Excel reports and summaries
• Conduct simple data checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Support other administrative and clerical tasks as needed
• Follow company data privacy and security protocols
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data entry, formatting, sorting, filtering)
• Knowledgeable or trainable in navigating and reading clinical records
• Good understanding of healthcare documentation and medical terminology
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills for managing workload and meeting deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate with research coordinators, healthcare teams, and other staff
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Previous office or administrative experience is a plus, but not required
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with data entry systems or databases
• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Docs)
• Interest in developing more advanced Excel or data analysis skills
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) or Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
• Previous experience involving review or abstraction of medical records
