SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER: AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER

 Teacher K - 8 plus Students with Disabilities certification or
• Elementary School Teacher K - 6 plus Students with Disabilities certification or
• qualify for certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program

Qualifications:
• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate or qualify for certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program
• Holder of a Certificate of Eligibility must complete the 50 hour pre-professional experience as required by the NJ Department of Education
• Demonstrates ability to implement an IEP affectively
• Demonstrates knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
