Job Description

Responsibilities
• Provide 1:1 therapy using intensive teaching and natural environment training
• Implement goals outlined in each client's Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP)
• Collect accurate data on skill acquisition and behavior reduction
• Meet daily billable hour expectations (6.3 hours/day)
• Complete session notes and documentation in EMR systems (e.g., Motivity)
• Enter time worked daily into payroll systems (e.g., Isolved)
• Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers regarding progress
• Collaborate with BCBAs, supervisors, and fellow technicians
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and approved safety procedures
• Provide classroom coverage during cancellations or non-billable time
• Work occasional Saturdays for make-up sessions as needed
Requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to receive and apply frequent feedback
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Comfort working with a range of behaviors (e.g., screaming, hitting, biting)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain physically active throughout the day
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year experience working with children preferred
• RBT Certification (40-Hour Training) required upon hire
• CPR, First Aid, and Seizure Training (completed within first 2 weeks – provided)
Nice-to-haves
• EMR experience (Motivity, Aloha) preferred
• 1,000+ hours working with children with autism in ABA settings preferred

- •As a Behavior Technician , you will work directly with children ages 2–17 diagnosed with autism and other developmental disorders. Under the supervision of a BCBA or Clinical Supervisor , you will implement individualized treatment plans using ABA principles to support meaningful behavior change and skill development
