Company Description

The Learning Perch is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA/LBA) licensed in Texas to join our therapist-owned team. We are a small, family-centered ABA practice providing individualized support to children and young adults ages 2–21 in home and community settings throughout the Austin area. Role Description

This is a full-time, in-home and in-community role for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) located in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The BCBA will conduct behavioral assessments, design and oversee behavior intervention plans, provide training and education to parents and caregivers, and supervise implementation of ABA techniques by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). The role also involves providing ongoing client progress monitoring and adjustments to treatment plans as needed, while ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and professional standards.

Job Responsibilities
• Caseload of 4-5 learners.
• 25 billable hours per week.
• Conducts functional behavior assessments and develops treatment plans that recommend individualized, evidence based behavioral strategies in a format accessible to family members, professionals, and insurance providers
• Supervises ABA programs in the home and/or community setting
• Develops strong collaborative relationships and trains families, caregivers, and/or other providers to implement effective techniques across all environments, promoting progress and generalization
• Provides ongoing supervision and training of behavior technicians, ensuring treatment integrity and supporting professional growth of technicians
• Monitors progress and evaluates treatment effectiveness regularly
• Completes reports and other paperwork within the established time frames
• Provides direction and guidance to the treatment team regarding implementation of teaching programs and behavior intervention plans
• Communicates with insurance companies regarding precertification of services, treatment plan reviews, certification of services, and concurrent review of services
• Communicates with parents/caregivers/staff as needed
• Develops instructional materials as needed

Job Requirements
• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), as certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Texas State License (LBA)
• 1 year of experience supervising behavior analytic programs preferred
• Experience with online data systems such as Catalyst, CentralReach, or HiRasmus preferred
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills
• Availability on weekdays (Office hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., no weekends).
• Position can be either full-time or part-time if desired
