Autumn ABA is seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented, and clinically strong Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Assessment Team.

This is a specialized clinical role focused exclusively on initial ABA assessments, caregiver interviews, direct observations, treatment recommendations, and comprehensive report writing.

We are looking for a BCBA who thrives in assessment-based work, produces high-quality clinical documentation, communicates exceptionally well with families, and can maintain fast turnaround times while following established company protocols and templates.

Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive ABA intake and initial assessments via telehealth
• Complete caregiver interviews and clinical history reviews
• Conduct direct client observations
• Administer and interpret assessment tools as clinically appropriate
• Develop individualized treatment recommendations
• Complete high-quality clinical assessment reports
• Submit reports within required turnaround timelines
• Communicate directly with families to schedule and complete assessments promptly
• Follow company assessment protocols, templates, and documentation standards
• Collaborate with clinical leadership as needed

Required Qualifications
• Current BCBA certification in good standing
• Fluent bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish strongly preferred)
• Extensive experience conducting ABA initial assessments
• Strong clinical writing and report-writing skills
• Experience writing reports for insurance authorization and medical necessity reviews
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to independently manage deadlines and maintain fast turnaround times
• Reliable, responsive, and highly professional

Required Assessment Experience

Candidates must have experience administering, scoring, interpreting, and incorporating results from assessment tools such as:
• Vineland-3
• VB-MAPP
• ABLLS-R
• AFLS
• FAST
• Functional Assessments
• Skills-based and adaptive behavior assessments
• Other ABA assessment tools commonly used for treatment planning and insurance authorizations

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous QA experience reviewing clinical assessment reports
• Experience identifying deficiencies in assessment documentation
• Experience training or mentoring clinicians on report quality
• Multi-state licensure and/or experience working with multiple funding sources
• Experience with insurance authorization processes
