Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients in accordance with their treatment plans and goals.
Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans for clients.
Develop and implement treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and individual client needs.
Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, progress, and treatment plans.
Stay up-to-date on current research, best practices, and ethical guidelines in the field of mental health counseling.
Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to address client needs and promote positive outcomes.
Provide crisis intervention and support to clients as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
Adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as ethical standards, in the provision of mental health services.
Participate in regular supervision and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional growth and development.
Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and non-judgmental attitudes towards clients and their families.
Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients at all times.
Advocate for clients and collaborate with community resources to ensure their needs are met.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients and staff.
