Qualifications

  • Preference for background in stem cell biology and immunology, with degrees in biological sciences, cell biology, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, biomedical science, medical laboratory science, or neuroscience
  • Preference for experience in a biomedical lab performing both bench work and animal work
  • Experience with flow cytometry is a significant plus
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to pivot to new directions quickly as data matures in this novel multidisciplinary space
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills are a must-have; experience with electronic notebooks is a significant plus
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and adhered to protocols and procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Applicant will be required to pass all biosafety and animal care and use training

Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a highly motivated research associate who will be part of a team progressing the discovery and development activities of our antibody program
  • Process human tissue samples
  • Perform in vitro and in vivo experiments in both mice and large animals
  • Troubleshoot and optimize experimental protocols with a high degree of technical competency and independence
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data, synthesize findings, prepare results for presentation, and present data in both written and oral formats
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal and external teams
  • As a member of a small team, be willing to support the evolving needs of the team based on program priorities and data
