Job Training:
In Washington State, to become a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT), individuals must complete a 40-hour Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) training program including classroom, online, or supervisor-led instruction, covering areas like measurement, assessment, ethics, and skill acquisition. We help you with this process and assure you are ready to work one-on-one with our clients.
Job Duties:
• We perform ABA Therapy for children with autism in homes, schools, and at our center locations.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and record data on the child’s progress and behavior.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions when needed
Our Ideal Candidate:
• Holds a current license from WA State as a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT).
• * Passionate about helping children.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Reliable transportation.
Qualifications:
• A current Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Some college hours or a degree in a related field (preferred).
• Experience in childcare, education, or other child-related fields (preferred).
Growth Opportunities:
• Potential for advancement after just 6 months with an RBT certification.
• Opportunity to enter our Supervised Fieldwork program to become a LaBA, BCaBA, or BCBA after 6 months.
