Job Description
nnection, and evidence-based care to every moment. We meet kids where they are—at home, in schools, and in communities—and guide them on a path toward growth. We live our TRUE values: Transparency, Respect, Understanding, and Excellence. As a fast-growing leader in the field, we're known for our vibrant culture, hands-on training, and career pathways that help you grow just as much as those we serve.
## Your Role as a Behavior Specialist
This isn't just an entry-level job—it's the first step in a mapped-out journey toward a degree, promotion, and even leadership. As a Behavior Specialist in our hybrid remote role, you'll use play, games, and evidence-based strategies to help kids build communication, social, and life skills. You'll bring energy and compassion to each session, whether it's at a child's home, one of our centers, or out in the community. Following personalized plans designed by our clinical leaders, you'll celebrate small wins that lead to big growth. In this flexible, on-the-go role where no two days look the same, you don't need prior experience—we'll train you and support you every step of the way.
## What Success Looks Like
Success means kids smiling because they can now say a new word, share a toy, or join in play while achieving life-changing milestones. It means families feeling hope and relief because they see real progress. And it means you growing through paid training, coaching, and mapped-out career milestones that chart your path forward.
## What We're Looking For
You're someone who loves working with kids and making a real difference. You bring patience, energy, and optimism to every session and thrive in flexible, dynamic environments. You're ready to grow your career while helping kids grow too. To succeed in this role, you'll need a high school diploma or GED, plus 6 months of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Telehealth or virtual experience is preferred. We need flexible availability, especially Monday through Friday afternoons and evenings, plus Saturdays. You must provide proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, and COVID—California mandated), have reliable transportation, feel comfortable working with diverse populations, and demonstrate a willingness to complete training and documentation. Physically, you should be able to frequently sit and stand and keep pace with your client.
## Compensation and Benefits
Starting pay is $20–$25 per hour, based on your experience. Beyond competitive base pay, you'll receive bonus opportunities, paid drive time and mileage reimbursement, and a company-issued cell phone. Our Dreams Come True Program offers free college or tuition reimbursement to help you earn your degree. You'll also get hands-on training, clear career advancement pathways, and access to our vibrant team culture.
## Physical Requirements
This role involves constant visual stimulation, including close vision, distance vision, reading, and computer work. You'll be constantly sitting with frequent transitions to standing and using the telephone, speaking, and listening. Document handling, copier and fax machine use, and filing are constant. Frequent typing and computer use are expected, along with occasional walking around our building, bending, reaching, stooping, pulling, and lifting or carrying items up to 20 pounds. You may also need to walk to, bend to enter, and drive a car while using both upper and lower limbs.
## Our Commitment to You
