Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
  • 1+ year of healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software applications
  • Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from a recognized and reputable organization (e.g., American Heart Association, Red Cross) or the ability to obtain one within 1 month of hire
  • Ability to complete ZoomCare’s phlebotomy training program within six months of hire
  • WA: Must be able to obtain a Medical Assistant- Phlebotomist license within 6 months of hire
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), and TD/TDAP
  • Prolonged periods of standing/sitting and working at a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at time
  • Ability to move to a different clinic location based on business needs
  • Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision

Responsibilities

  • The Clinic Associate is responsible for delivering the Perfect Visit experience in one or more of the following service lines: Daily Care, Family Medicine, Mental Health, Women's Health, Dermatology, and Podiatry
  • This can include scheduling appointments, updating medical records, checking patients in and out for appointments, performing blood draws, processing labs, and maintaining inventory
  • Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday
  • Sunday, 8:30am – 6:30pm
  • Monday – Tuesday, 7:30am – 6:30pm
  • Wednesday, 7:30am – 1:15pm
  • Clinic positions required you to attend 2-3 weeks of training
  • The first week will be partially remote and at your primary location, the second and third weeks include traveling to multiple clinics in the area
  • Depending on the position and associated requirements, there may be additional mandatory training requirements that are outside of your scheduled shift

  • Check patients in and out for appointments
  • Schedule new appointments as needed
  • Process patient payments
  • Educate patients on how to navigate their ZoomCare medical record
  • Maintain patient’s demographic and insurance information
  • Perform blood draws and finger sticks while adhering to all written laboratory standards
  • Process collected specimens and document results
  • Maintain supply inventory; order, receive, and store supplies
  • Work with and maintain some basic medical equipment
  • Provide emergency care to patients when necessary
  • Support medical providers as needed
  • Ensure the clinic remains clean and neat
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and reaching overhead
  • Occasional crouching, kneeling, and bending
  • Patient volume may often require more than your scheduled hours per week or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this job
  • Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment
