Job Description
+ Conduct training on new assays.
+ Perform experiments related to clinical trials.

+ Perform complex data analysis and ensure accuracy in findings.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2-3 years experience with PCR, Quantitative PCR, or digital drop PCR.
+ At least 5 years of direct experience in laboratory testing within a clinical services lab.
+ Proficiency in molecular biology techniques.
+ Hands-on experience with next-generation sequencing, especially Ion Torrent technology.
+ Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex analyses.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional
Skills & Qualifications
+ BS degree in Biological Sciences from an accredited college or university.
+ MS degree in a molecular field is preferred.
+
Experience with data entry, retrieval, and analysis using computer systems.
+ Familiarity with good laboratory practices and regulatory compliance.
Work Environment
The work is primarily laboratory-based with some office time dedicated to writing experiments, validation documents, and standard operating procedures. Physical activities include sitting or standing for extended periods, handling equipment and specimens, and lifting up to 40 lbs. The role involves the use of computer systems and may require handling infectious agents and hazardous chemicals. Flexibility to stretch, bend, or twist to reach various storage areas is necessary.
This contingent position operates Sunday through Saturday.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
