Job Description
e:
• Hold a Certificate of Clearance (COC) required for California schools
• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license, preferably with Certified Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience working in schools, especially with the Special Education Information System (SEIS)
• Familiarity with California Medicaid billing, particularly Paradigm system, is preferred
• Ability to work with students with mild to moderate speech-language needs as well as some severe cases requiring AAC devices
• Willingness to work in an itinerant role, covering multiple school sites as needed
Location:
• Position is onsite in Indio, CA, serving the Coachella Valley Unified School District area
Responsibilities:
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide therapy services for students with diverse communication needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate documentation, including Medicaid billing where applicable
• Support students using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
